The time and cost it takes to prep DTT lessons has gone down significantly. Staff really like the program. Sessions can happen anywhere! Staff are not struggling with finding cards or forgetting to take them out of their pockets at the end of the day! Clients are very interested in the setup and are moving through work trials quickly, which is resulting in us getting more trials in. I think the biggest thing for me has been how responsive the FirstWork team has been with getting new features added and always being open to hearing ideas.

FirstWork has been a great way to meet our mission of access to care. Our company prides ourselves on meeting any learner in any environment – including rural communities where stimuli and resources are not easily accessible. FirstWork has been incredible at meeting the need for stimuli in these environments. We have been able to use the app in Indiana (home and clinic settings), Kentucky (home, clinic, and telehealth settings), and Georgia (telehealth settings). This has given our BCBA’s the ability to create and share programming for clients. On my own caseload I was able to get engagement from one of my clients who regularly was engaging in refusal – he would even ask to play the “backpack” game which was one of the stimuli in his rotation. FirstWork has been and continues to be an incredible partnership as we continue to grow the tele-health team!
